The EDGE module concept brings a prismatic cell stack, electrical connections, and layered thermal interfaces into one architecture.
Interfaces throughout the module.
A fin sits beside each cell, with a foot that reaches the lower cooling plate. Thermal pads sit between cells and fins, beneath the stack, and on both sides of the cover plate.
Structure between the layers.
Compression pads sit between neighbouring large cell faces. Above the terminals and busbars, a cover plate sits between two thermal pad layers, with cooling channels on top.
